This week we saw more presentations about the first nation groups.
Something I found interesting:
- the Iroquois group
- it is pretty cool that they discovered agriculture
- it is pretty bad that they fought and played dangerous games instead of hunting
Something hard:
- Did the other first nation groups or the other people from the New World learn to fight because of the Iroquois or from the Europeans?
Something Easy:
- To find out why agriculture is really important, despite the fact that it made people bored and fight, they found easier ways to get food and not having to travel all the time.

Dec. 1-4, 2009
This week we learned about the First Nation People, their culture and about the Places in Canada that have tribes.
It was really cool learning all about the new tribes that were in the presentations. Some I already heard about. We also learned more about their way of living and how hard their life was. I learned that those people who were living there were really strong, because they had to survive all the harsh times to survive.
Something I found easy to understand was that humans follow food around, no matter where the animals went. Well, not everyone did that. Some tribes already had everything they needed, so they didn't really need to move much. They already have fish (a lot of them) and so they can just catch them whenever they want.
But also some people still had to follow their food. For example the people who live in the Plains. All they could eat was buffalo. (Pretty sad to me)
Something I found hard was how the tribes were kind of different but kind of the same. If they were so similar, they can just combine together. Of course every tribe has their own kind of culture.
My question is:
What will happen if one tribe moved to another place that already has a tribe, because no more animals were left there? Do they usually have fights/wars, or are they very peaceful?
P.S. My questions is not really good, because this is my only question. :I
