Nov. 27,2009

Last week, we learned a lot more about history.
I am starting to like history, because we get to watch videos when looking at power points. We learned about glaciers, and how humans migrated, and when they did. It was really interesting knowing about these information.
But memorizing is not that easy....if we have to. Since there are a lot of dates that are really important.
We also have to know about the places in Canada, since we are in a Canadian school, AND we are learning a bit about Canada, and how the glaciers were there.
For homework, we have to do a presentation in a group, and I'm kind of nervous of doing that.

Not a lot of things were difficult, and knowing the facts and finding it interesting was easy. :)

Question:
Is it possible for the humans to have traveled in a different path than the one that is shown in the power point?

Nov. 18, 2009 History Class

Today is the 2nd class of History class.

The things I found interesting today is that humans didn't come from the New World, which is in the U.S (around there), and humans came from the places near where I am, like Africa/Asia, (the Old World).
The things I found confusing was that the animals can evolve into something really different over a period of time. To me that was really weird.

Actually my sister was interested in the different kinds of "animals" that were similar to humans.
They were called Homo Erectus and Neanderthals. My sister was watching episodes/movies talking about evolution. (since my sister is interested in History) They looked really realistic!

Questions for this week:
How can animals evolve into humans?
