Nov. 18, 2009 History Class

Today is the 2nd class of History class.

The things I found interesting today is that humans didn't come from the New World, which is in the U.S (around there), and humans came from the places near where I am, like Africa/Asia, (the Old World).
The things I found confusing was that the animals can evolve into something really different over a period of time. To me that was really weird.

Actually my sister was interested in the different kinds of "animals" that were similar to humans.
They were called Homo Erectus and Neanderthals. My sister was watching episodes/movies talking about evolution. (since my sister is interested in History) They looked really realistic!

Questions for this week:
How can animals evolve into humans?

  1. Nice reflecting, Pearl. I am also confused on that question, and I really want to know the answer too. I think that we will find out over the history course though. Overall, great job!

  2. I think the answer to the question is:
Overtime, the first animals started to change more to suit the environment. After a few billions years latter, this animal had no more his tail, after that this animal has fingers and things turn into that and yea.

I don't really know how to explain it more clearly but I tried :S

  3. Great entry Pearl!
You wrote about what you thought was confusing, and what you learned. I think that was the movie I watched too. Great that it's come on at this time when we're currently learning about the exact (kind of) thing in class.
